AN/TPS-75 Antenna Repairs

Antenna Associates Inc. of Brockton, MA was awarded a repair and overhaul contract for the AN/TPS-75 Antenna System’s IFF/SSR (Identification Friend or Foe / Secondary Surveillance Radar) Antennas with Hill AFB.

Antenna Associates Inc. will repair, retune and range test the AN/TPS-75 Identification Friend or Foe Antennas bringing them back to original state.  The antennas will then be returned to Hill AFB where they will rejoin the rest of the AN/TPS-75 Radar System.  Antenna Associates has been performing overhauls and providing new antennas for the AN/TPS-75 IFF Antennas since 1985. 

Antenna Associates has much experience with the AN/TPS-75 Identification Friend or Foe Antennas.  Antenna Associates had a previous contract to manufacture new IFF Antennas for the AN/TPS-75 Radar System.  Antenna Associates has also designed a replacement IFF Antenna for the AN/TPS-75 Radar System. 

Raytheon describes the AN/TPS-75 radar system as “a mobile, tactical radar system capable of providing radar azimuth, range, height and Identification Friend or Foe information for a 240-nautical-mile area. It is a deployable/transportable radar system that provides long range radar data to support operations and control of tactical aircraft. The AN/TPS-75 radar system provides a "real-time" radar airspace picture and data in support of the battle commander and the ground theater air control system via radio, telephone, microwave relay, or satellite communications link”.
